Mânăstirea Cetăţuia Negru Vodă – Cetatuia Negru Voda Monastery

Istoricul manastirii:

Despre ctitorul manastirii Cetatuia Negru Voda nu este cunoscuta cu exactitate. Se crede ca a luat fiinta din timpul mosului Zamolxe, apoi in aceasta zona s-a stabilit Sfantul Ioanichie cel Nou de la Muscel, sfant sihastru care a fost descoperit intr-o pestera suspendata in peretele abrupt al muntelui. Moastele sfantului erau asezate intr-o scobitura de piatra, in forma de mormant, iar deasupra, pe perete, era scris in piatra: “Ioanichie Schimonah 1638.” Biserica din pestera, atribuita voievodului Negru Voda, a fost construita in secolul al XIII-lea, odata cu cetatea Campulung Muscel, care a fost prima capitala a Tarii Romanesti.
Langa “Pesterea Mosului”, silueta daltuita a “Cavalerului Trac” sta de veghe la capatul cimitirului in care se afla cateva cruci, pe care nu stau scrise decat nume, fara sa se precizeze momentul trecerii la cele vesnice. Celebrul si misteriosul “Cavaler Trac” avea un cult raspandit din Carpati, pana la Marea Mediterana.

Cunoscuta initial sub denumirea de “Schitul Cetatuia Negru Voda”, manastirea este construita pe o stanca inalta, la altitudinea de 881 de metri, pe malul stang al raului Dambovita, intre “Valea lui Coman” si “Valea Chiliilor”. De la soseaua principala si pana la manastire, pe o poteca ingusta, se face insa mai putin de un ceas. Biserica din manastire are doua hramuri: Adormirea Maicii Domnului, pana in anul 1918, iar mai apoi, si Izvorul Tamaduirii.
Manastirea este situata in Localitatea Cetateni, judetul Arges.

Originally known as the “Citadel Negru Voda Monastery”, the monastery is built on a high rock, at an altitude of 881 meters, on the left bank of the river Dambovita between “Coman’s Valley” and “Valley Chiliilor”. Urmele de pasi

Legenda le atribuie lui Negru Voda si familiei sale, care au cerut ajutorul divin pentru a scapa de tatari. Ca semn ca rugaciunea le-a fost ascultata, au ramas aceste urme de pasi.

La Cetatuia, vechimea minima estimata in acest caz: 100.000 ani.

Dupa ultima glaciatiune persoane mixte, brabati, femei, copii, lasau aceste semne pentru posteritate, pe locurile cele mai stabile. Se mai gasesc in Alpii Italiei, Spania, Peru.

Footprints

Pestera Mosului Zamolxis

Pestera Mosului (Zamolxis) din traditiile populare romanesti fiind atat imaginea Dumenezeului dacilor cat si a marelui Preot. In vechime, loc de meditatie si ruga al Marelui Preot, in crestinism locul sihastrului cel mai imbunatatit. Pe langa candelele si icoanele din perioada moderna, se afla incrustatii in stanca, reprezentand cruci, serafimi, o mana binecuvantand, porumbelul, acestea fiind facute prin ravna inaintasilor nostri, pierduti in negura vremurilor.

Cavalerul Trac

Mai este cunoscut si ca Marele Zeu GEBELEIZIS. Cavalerul Trac, Zeul Tanar al tracilor balcanici si danubieni, reprezentat calare, a fost numit si ,,Theos Heros” , ,,Heron” ,  iar in iconografia romaneasca s-a pastrat de-a lungul vremurilor in chipul lui Sfantul Gheorghe. El este vazut ca un simbol al nemuririi si al victoriei binelui asupra raului si mortii. Calul este un simbol al imortalitatii si evoca eroizarea defunctului, calul fiind un animal solar.

Knight Trac
